With each day passing by we both have realised that life is too short for being tangled with grief and sorrow. Back in school we were these shy people with our own baggage of family problems that made us a complete outsider in school. Battling in the war zone of peer pressure and insecurities lead us to a state of turmoil. Colours of rainbow were added in the days of black and white when we crossed the same road. Our friendship feels like a roller coaster if we reflect back to those days, but hey! which friendship doesn’t ?
Now being in different horizons of this mundane world made us realise how crazy we all used to be. The days of continuous gossiping and the sounds of laughter still rings in our ears sometimes. We definitely found a safe place to call home in each other, which made us stronger and more resilient. Moments of uncountable laughter, epiphanies and cries are hidden somewhere in this place we call our “home”.
Starting this venture is just a result of brain storming on a random day. I guess we all have tried numerous things in this never ending quarantine period. This is our way of “trying something new” maybe. A lot of us are facing mental health issues that we are not even aware of. We all try to find home in a stranger where we can be a different version of ourselves and just feel free. I guess we all role play through every single day to feel alive.
Normalising mental health issues, heart breaks and abuses is really not done and is completely unfair. Our main motive for starting this venture is to listen people’s stories and make them heard, because real heroes are around us. We just need to open our eyes and ears to see and hear them out. Everyone who wants to share their stories and relive their experiences are welcome here, where every human is a town filled with stories and experiences to tell.
